Traffic Pileup

This is not exactly the news we wanted to be giving you today, but it’s all we’ve got.

Sentinels of the Multiverse: The Video Game is available all around the world as of today:

With one glaring exception: The United States of America. To be fair, there may be other exceptions, but we have not received reports of any others.

We have released more than a dozen apps over the last 5 years, and never seen a delay like this, and especially never seen a situation where it’s delayed only on a single store in the whole world. Our President, Jeremy Handel has spoken directly to the iTunes Provider support staff and has been told the company line: it can take up to 24 hours for an app to be live around the world. We have been told this is due to a “caching delay” and that there is nothing that can be done -- other than wait.

We know that many of you have contacted Apple support regarding the purchasing issue and have been told that “engineering is working on it.” Thank you for your support! The iTunes support staff are very aware of the issue now but unfortunately cannot do anything about it. Our final step is to wait until 24 hours have passed, and if it is still not available, to contact support again.

Many of you are concerned about the remaining stock of The Super Scientific Tachyon promo cards. Rest assured there are still more than enough cards remaining to satisfy the anticipated initial demand. If the delay lasts long enough where we feel we need to take action, we will temporarily suspend form submissions until the app is available on the App Store in the United States.
